Jackie O. Santos is a Senior Project Designer with Bill Rooney Studio. She attended San Francisco State University, where she graduated cum laude with B.S. in Interior Design. She later continued her studies with emphasis on environmental design and sustainability at Parsons School of Design. Jackie began her professional career in San Francisco and the greater Bay Area working on commercial design, institutions, and museum projects. After moving to New York City, she concentrated on hospitality and residential design at AD100 firms.
Currently, at Bill Rooney Studio, Jackie has been involved from design conceptualization to construction realization on several hospitality projects. She is currently part of the interior design team and leads the FF&E development for Four Seasons Hotel One Dalton in Boston and Four Season New Orleans. Her past projects at BRS include public space and guest room renovations of the Peninsula Hotel Chicago and New York, Ritz Carlton Spa Georgetown, various Starwood hotels, and Hilton Short Hills property. She seeks to achieve elegance and refinement and utilizes innovative products and design techniques in every project.
Born in the Philippines and raised in California, Jackie’s appreciation for design began at an early age growing up with her interior designer mother and attributing her environmental interests to her geologist father. Her approach in design features refined use of colors, strong silhouettes, and mixing contemporary and historical styles.
